The UPTAKERS team at Jordan University of Science and Technology JUST successfully organized the second Info Day within the framework of the UPTAKERS Project, continuing efforts to promote immersive technologies and digital learning approaches among students, faculty members, and administrative staff.
The event opened with welcoming remarks by the Project Manager at JUST, Prof. Fahmi Abu Alrub, who emphasized the importance of integrating advanced digital technologies into higher education and highlighted the project’s role in supporting innovative learning environments.
The technical session was delivered by Eng. Mohammad Al Qoudah and Eng. Senan Nassar, who shared knowledge and practical insights gained through specialized UPTAKERS training activities in Spain. Participants were introduced to the applications of Virtual Reality (VR), Extended Reality (XR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in interactive and future-oriented educational practices.
The event welcomed around 25 participants, reflecting increasing interest in digital transformation and immersive educational technologies at JUST.
Another successful step toward integrating innovative technologies into higher education.
