WP1 Management and Coordination
Duration: Month 1 – Month 36, Lead beneficiary: OUC
Objectives
- Establish a clear management structure and the common methodology to assure the successful completion of the project objectives on time.
- Regulating internal communication, controlling the work-plan during the 3-year period, carrying out adjustments and accounting of the budget to all partners and subcontractors as well as data collection and write-up of the intermediate and final report. This is necessary to meet the accountability requirements towards EACEA.
- Perform the correspondence with the official ERASMUS+ authorities in Brussels and coordinates the correspondence between the EACEA staff in Brussels and the project partners.
- Composing teams of: 1) Operation team composed by a Financial Expert and a Monitoring Expert, 2) Management Team to be the Steering and Scientific Committee (SSC), 3) Quality and Risk Committee to supervise the progression of the project, and will be headed by a Quality and Risk Manager.
- Implementing internal platform for efficient internal communication management.

WP2 QUALITY PLAN – Quality, Monitoring, and Sustainability Control
Duration: Month 1 – Month 36, Lead beneficiary: BAU
Objectives
- Structure quality and monitoring plan, including tools and templates for evaluation of steps and milestone of project implementation all done by WP leader.
- Quality Assurance Manual will be elaborated by the Quality and Sustainability Committee, established during the Kick-Off meeting. The manual will investigate the quality standards of the different partner universities and standardize them in a shared approach. This manual will be used during the project duration for the quality assessment. In detail, among other aspects, quality control for entry requirements, the realization of the course as well as the performance of educators has to be monitored. Therefore, test templates as standardized system has to be developed within this work package to guarantee a high level of quality at the different universities. To achieve this quality monitoring, these templates have to be followed by all beneficiary partners.
- A specific monitoring and evaluation system will be set up to provide constant and clear information about the effective carrying out of the Action to the management, allowing the optimization of resources and redirection of activities which can be affected by problems.
- Quality and Risk Plan will be elaborated through monitoring of the results, and of the process leading to the outputs (Quality Assurance).
- The evaluation results will be condensed in a Quality and Risk documentation in a timely manner distributed to all partners. A summary will be provided for public dissemination, to improve future sustainability.
- Sustainability plan is elaborated approaching the end of project period. It is to be designed based upon the data acquired through the years of the project implementation.

WP3 XR-based educational materials’ development

Objectives
- Review of need analysis output for the educational, research, and market of each MENA university for extended reality applications. The final report of needs and assets will cover programme educational material as well as university facilities (e.g., lab equipment, library resources, etc.).
- Preparing a detailed set of XR tools that Beneficiary Universities can use to prepare their updated courses for undergraduate, postgraduate levels, staff, and graduates
- External review of proposed course’s structure design for each beneficiary university.
- Accreditation of developed new and updated courses by internal administrative staff (Head of department and the Dean of college) within each Beneficiary University for delivery to students.

Objectives
- The extension of existing or establishment of new Digital extended reality laboratories. The labs are planned based on the needs analysis done by MENA partners and reviewed by EU partners for proposal write-up.
- Implementation and testing of each lab workflow are reviewed by leading WP partners and reported to Quality WP leading partners.
- Equipment selection is made with academic, technicians, and students in mind to provide the most suitable solutions and maximize benefits acquired.

Objectives
- Start of educational material delivery to both undergraduate and post graduate levels and professional workshops at each beneficiary.
- Technical seminar hosting an expert in the field with XR application, who deliver an intriguing lecture about where XR technology.
- Active engagement of the business sector in the material delivery, by organizing a continuing educational programmes and activities with and within enterprises.
- Multiplier effect presenting the project’s outcomes to a larger international audience.

Objectives
- EU HEIs will share their knowledge and expertise in the XR field with Beneficiary HEIs.
- Capacity building of Beneficiary HEIs for several target groups (i.e. academic staff, technical staff, and students).
- Training of lecturers from Region (3) in the EU Programme Universities, in order to facilitate the transfer of knowledge from EU to MENA partners.
- Technical training of academic and technical staff on the purchased XR equipment, in order to empower them for innovative teaching.
- One student from each Beneficiary University will also be given the opportunity to receive 15 days of training at one of the EU partners University, in order to further enhance their skills, they acquired throughout their courses and their research.

WP7 DISSEMINATION & EXPLOITATION – Publicity and Dissemination
Duration: Month 1 – Month 36, Lead beneficiary: AASTMT
Objectives
- Elaboration of the Communication Plan in order to disseminate the information and deliverables to the related wider community: education scientists, students, researchers, technologists, governmental agencies representatives, public, industry representatives and trainers.
- The objective of the dissemination activities is to increase the visibility of the established start-up mechanism and its scientific activities.
- Create the vision and media theme for UPTAKERS project. This includes all dissemination material and templates for all documents published publicly and privately on behalf of UPTAKERS project
- Material dissemination channels creation and follow-up: 1) project official website,2) UPTAKERS social media portals.
- Focus on the key target groups and will be carried out on different levels (Small Enterprises, Medium Enterprises, Universities and Research agencies).
- The organization a Final Dissemination Exhibition and Forum, where students, staff, researcher from partner universities interact and deliver formats of XR alongside to entrepreneurs, artists, and enterprises from the market.
