This morning marked the official opening of the SSC Meeting 4 of the European project UPTAKERS, hosted by the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics (FME) of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona.
The meeting is being held in a hybrid format, bringing together project partners both onsite and online for three days of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic discussions.
UPTAKERS (Upgrading Academic Skills and Innovative Capacities through Virtually Inclusive Hybrid Studios) aims to foster innovation in higher education by leveraging Extended Reality (XR) technologies, including Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and immersive hybrid learning environments.
During the meeting, partners will review the project’s progress, share experiences and best practices, discuss ongoing activities, and plan the next steps toward enhancing academic skills and innovative capacities across higher education institutions.
Through its innovative approach, UPTAKERS contributes to creating more inclusive, engaging, and future-oriented learning experiences, supporting the digital transformation of higher education.
